This kangaroo does not know he cannot swim

The kangaroo was swimming farther into the ocean.

Mia and her friends were walking along the ocean beach. It was a pretty windy day with hardly any people outside. Suddenly, the group noticed a kangaroo. A wild animal appeared on the beach and started to jump towards the water. He looked so confident. The scene was more than confusing. The friends kept looking at the animal as he went into the water.

They were trying to figure out whether he knew what he was doing or if he needed some help. However, the waves were getting bigger, and there was no time to give it a second thought, as the kangaroo was swimming farther into the ocean.

Two men of Mia’s friends ran after him and somehow managed to take him back to the shore. But the problem did not seem to be solved. The poor thing was shaking. The ocean water was too cold for him. But by the time Mia was deciding how she could help, the kangaroo, for some reason, stood up and jumped back into the water.

The men again rushed after him and took him to the shore. However, it was not easy. The kangaroo was quickly swimming farther, while the waves would not allow them to move fast.

This time, Mia already had a large blanket ready when the kangaroo reached the shore. They dried his fur, and, to prevent other adventurous attempts, took him to a sanctuary.

The kangaroo was surprisingly calm. It might be that he simply lacked energy after swimming in the ocean waves. In any case, it seemed like he trusted the people around him, and let them carry him into the car.

The kangaroo was released back into the wild soon after, only in a couple of months. Now, all we can do is simply hope that he will no longer feel the desire to dive into the waves.
